I’m a licensed psychologist, psychoanalyst, and board-certified dance/movement therapist. I treat adults, 18+. and see people cisgendered, diversely gendered, and those with queer sexualities. I have counseled people concerning adult development and identity, sexuality, belonging in communities, anxiety, depression, grief, aging, relationship difficulties, cancer survivorship, substance and alcohol tapering, chronic illness, traumas and Traumas. I strive to offer a cultually responsive practice utilizing the therapeutic modalities of relational psychoanalysis and psychotherapy, somatic dance movement therapy, telehealth therapy, and EMDR.
I offer culturally responsive care to hold space for unsensoring your thoughts, feelings, and emotions. I believe that deconstructing problem saturated stories to build new narratives can happen through trying things out to make a change. Feeling the effects of break-through experiences is a relief. Having less conflict feels good. Easing the process of un-censoring your thoughts and emotions is my goal. Saying what is pushing for expression can bring long overdue relief.
